1. About these Terms

These Ticketing and Event Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern registrations, bookings and ticket purchases made through Fractional Global L.L.C-FZ ( "Fractional Global", "we", "us" or "our") for events which we organise, promote, advertise, host, co-host, or facilitate.

These Terms apply to:

  • paid events sold by us;
  • free events requiring registration;
  • events hosted or operated by third parties which we advertise or promote; and
  • bookings made through our website, landing pages, forms, Stripe payment pages, registration tools, email links, QR codes, or other authorised channels.

By registering for or purchasing a ticket for an event, you agree to these Terms.

2. Who your contract is with

2.1 Events organised and sold by Fractional Global

Where we are the organiser or seller of the event, the contract for your ticket or registration is with Fractional Global L.L.C-FZ.

2.2 Third-party events

Some events advertised by us are hosted, operated and/or paid for through another company. In those cases:

  • we may act only as a promoter, referral partner, or marketing channel;
  • the contract for attendance, payment, fulfilment, refunds and event delivery may be between you and the third-party organiser; and
  • the third-party organiser's terms, privacy notice and refund policy may also apply.

Where an event page, checkout page or registration page states that the event is operated by a third party, that third party will be identified on the relevant page.

3. Event registration and contract formation

A registration or ticket booking is confirmed when:

  1. you submit your booking or registration request;
  2. payment is successfully received, if the event is paid; and
  3. you receive a confirmation email, receipt, ticket, QR code, or other confirmation from us or the relevant organiser.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit registrations where reasonably necessary for security, venue capacity, compliance, or operational reasons.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are stated in AED unless expressly stated otherwise.

Any applicable taxes, booking fees or processing charges that apply to a booking made through us will be displayed before payment is completed. UAE rules require pricing and contracting details to be clearly shown, and require an invoice or proof of transaction to be provided.

Payments made through our sales flow are processed using Stripe or another authorised payment provider.

For events sold by a third party, payment may be collected directly by that third party, and their payment terms will apply.

5. Free events

For free events:

  • registration is required where specified;
  • places may be limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis;
  • we may cancel a registration, change the event format, or decline entry where capacity or operational limits require it;
  • repeated no-shows may affect your ability to register for future free events.

No monetary refund is due for free events.

6. Ticket delivery and proof of registration

Tickets or confirmations may be delivered by email, QR code, PDF, wallet pass, confirmation page or attendee list.

You are responsible for:

  • entering accurate contact details;
  • checking your spam or junk folder; and
  • contacting us promptly if you do not receive confirmation.

Entry may be refused if a valid ticket, confirmation or proof of identity cannot be produced when reasonably requested.

7. Non-transferability

All tickets and event registrations are non-transferable unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing.

You may not:

  • transfer your ticket or registration to another person;
  • resell your ticket;
  • advertise your ticket for resale;
  • use a ticket for any promotional or commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

Any attempted transfer, resale or unauthorised use may result in cancellation of the ticket or registration without refund.

8. Admission and attendee conduct

Admission is subject to:

  • venue capacity;
  • compliance with these Terms;
  • compliance with venue rules and health and safety requirements; and
  • compliance with any reasonable instructions given by event staff, venue staff or security personnel.

We may refuse entry or remove any attendee, without refund where applicable, for reasons including:

  • abusive, threatening or disruptive behaviour;
  • harassment of staff, speakers, sponsors or attendees;
  • fraud or suspected fraud;
  • breach of these Terms;
  • breach of venue rules; or
  • any conduct that may create legal, safety or reputational risk.

9. Event changes

We may make reasonable changes to an event where necessary, including changes to:

  • date;
  • time;
  • venue;
  • agenda;
  • speaker line-up;
  • format, including changing to an online, hybrid or substitute format.

Where a change is minor, no refund will be due.

Where a change is material, the remedies set out in clause 10 will apply, subject always to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law. UAE consumer rules also prohibit terms that improperly remove or reduce mandatory consumer rights.

10. Cancellation, postponement, rebooking and refunds

10.1 Customer cannot attend

If you cannot attend a paid event for which Fractional Global is the seller:

  • your ticket is not refundable on demand; however
  • we will first offer you the option to move your booking to a future eligible event organised or sold by us.

If the first alternative event does not work for you, we may offer up to three future eligible events in total.

If none of those three future eligible events work for you, you may request a refund of the ticket price paid, and we will review and process that refund accordingly.

To request a move or refund under this clause, you must contact us before the event start time or within any period stated on the event page.

10.2 Event cancelled by Fractional Global

If we cancel an event and do not provide a replacement event or rescheduled date, you will be entitled to either:

  • a transfer to a future eligible event; or
  • a refund of the amount paid to us for the ticket.

10.3 Event postponed or rescheduled by Fractional Global

If we postpone or reschedule an event:

  • your ticket will remain valid for the new date, unless we state otherwise;
  • if you cannot attend the new date, clause 10.1 will apply, beginning with the option to move your booking to a future eligible event.

10.4 Third-party events

If the event is hosted, operated and/or sold by a third party:

  • refund, cancellation, postponement and rebooking rights will usually be governed by that third party's terms;
  • we are not obliged to provide a refund unless we are the seller of record or have expressly agreed to do so.

10.5 Free events

For free events, we may cancel, postpone or amend the event at any time. No monetary refund arises for free registrations.

10.6 Mandatory rights preserved

Nothing in these Terms removes any refund, return or other right you may have under mandatory UAE law where the service is defective, materially misdescribed, or otherwise required by law. UAE modern-trade rules expressly preserve consumer return and refund rights in cases such as defect, non-conformity with description, material delay, or breach of the announced terms.

11. No-shows and late arrivals

If you fail to attend, arrive late, or miss all or part of an event:

  • your ticket or registration may be treated as used; and
  • no refund or credit will be due, except where clause 10 or mandatory law requires otherwise.

12. Photography, filming and recordings

We and our partners may photograph, film or record events for security, promotional, documentary, educational or commercial purposes.

By attending an event, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs, videos or audio recordings captured at the event, and you grant us the right to use such content in connection with our business and promotional activity.

If you object to being recorded, you should notify event staff on arrival. We will use reasonable efforts to take your objection into account, but cannot guarantee that incidental capture will not occur.

13. Intellectual property

All event content, materials, presentations, recordings, branding, graphics, logos and related intellectual property remain owned by us or our licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, record, stream or commercially exploit any event content without prior written consent.

14. Third-party venues, speakers and suppliers

We may use third-party venues, speakers, caterers, ticketing tools, sponsors, payment processors and service providers in connection with an event.

We are not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third parties except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Personal data

We will process personal data in connection with ticketing, registration, event administration, attendee communications, legal compliance, customer support and related business operations.

Payment data may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider.

Where an event is operated by a third party, your data may also be processed by that third party in accordance with their privacy terms.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law.

Subject to the above:

  • we are liable only for direct losses that are reasonably foreseeable and arise directly from our breach of these Terms or our negligence;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business, opportunity, goodwill, travel costs or accommodation costs; and
  • our total liability in relation to a paid event sold by us shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant ticket.

Where we only advertise or promote a third-party event and are not the seller or organiser, we are not responsible for the delivery of that event, except to the extent required by law.

17. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay, cancellation, change, disruption or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • acts of God;
  • extreme weather;
  • venue unavailability;
  • public health events;
  • government action or restrictions;
  • transport disruption;
  • utility or internet failure;
  • civil unrest; or
  • supplier failure.

In such circumstances, we may cancel, reschedule, postpone, move online or otherwise modify the event.

18. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, waive or restrict any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force and effect.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

The courts of Dubai shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, subject to any mandatory rights or mandatory jurisdiction rules that apply.

Recommended footer note for third-party event pages

Use this where you are only advertising someone else's event: Important: This event is hosted and operated by a third-party organiser. Where payment is collected by that organiser or its booking provider, your contract for attendance and any refund rights will be with the organiser, and their terms and policies will apply.

Recommended checkout tick-box wording

Use something like: I have read and agree to the Ticketing and Event Terms and Conditions and understand the applicable refund, rebooking and organiser terms.

Important caution

English-only consumer terms can be a higher-risk approach in the UAE. The UAE consumer framework and related regulations require consumer advertisements and contracts to be in Arabic in many cases, and modern-technology trade rules require the digital merchant's terms, contact details and licence details to be made available to the consumer. Consider a professionally translated Arabic version with equal prominence where appropriate.
